Christmas Appeal
Greetings in Christ during the Nativity Fast!
The Nativity of the Savior approaches and before that is the Feat of the Entry of the Theotokos into the Temple (when she was age three), a very great and auspicious feast of the Church which is part of the divine "preparation" of the Ever-Virgin Mary, as a child in the temple in Jerusalem, for her coming role as the Mother of Christ the Lord! This feast prepares us for the Nativity of the flesh of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
During this time of the fast, we would ask your help with a few things.
1. We have raised $ 450.00 of the needed $ 2000.00 for the Vestry. We still need $ 1,550 to purchase the necessary vestments.
2. Our friend Padre David Lestani in Argentina (Georgian Orthodox Church) is in need of $ 500.00 assistance.
3. We also that $ 353.00 in Dental bills that we need help with.
If anyone can help us with any of these items, please let me know.
