Dear Friends of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross,
Greetings in Christ!
We hope and pray that all of you are doing well during this snow and cold. We had a total snowfall of 35 inches Friday night and Saturday!
We must order fuel oil for our Church in order to have heat for daily monastic services. At present we are out and have no heat. We do NOT have the funds for this, and we need your help.
We now have twice the number of monastics at Holy Cross Monastery in Setauket. All of our building and heating and utility, food, medical and other kinds of bills have undergone major increases since one year ago. We have had to create three new rooms in the last 6 months and we still need the funds to pay off these bills.
Fundraising efforts are very much needed at this time to cover existing and recurring bills, for which we do not have funds.
